The camera keeps the Gen 2's selfie mirror, self-timer and double-exposure mode, and adds two hardware improvements highlighted by the brand: a new lens and a more powerful flash, aimed at sharper shots and closer selfies with fewer reflections.

The body comes in five colours and only accepts Polaroid Go film, whose prints measure 66.6 × 53.9 mm in packs of 8 exposures.

Go Gen 3 vs Go Gen 2: what changes

The Go format is a choice you have to embrace: the prints are small, and Polaroid chemistry needs a few minutes to develop away from light. The camera offers no manual setting at all, and the fixed focal length forces you to work with distance.
